He loved serving others in his community and across the world, often giving generously to others and volunteering his time with his soup kitchen team, the Community Foundation of Southern Indiana, and various arts and community organizations. He connected with many over his love of cooking, books, the arts, gardening, and travel. Kyle had a rich array of hobbies and friendships. Prior to that he served as Executive Director of Nashville Opera and Company Manager of Kentucky Opera. Ogle Cultural and Community Center at Indiana University Southeast. He spent 17 years as the manager of the Paul. Kyle chose to follow his passion by building a career in the performing arts. He attended the Indiana University School of Music in Bloomington where he met and married his wife Susan Ramp Ridout, before earning a Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Vocal Performance. ![]() He grew up in Sunnyvale, CA and was a graduate of Sunnyvale High School. Kyle was born on August 26, 1957, in San Jose, California, to the late Charles Ridout and Mary Joe Ridout. Kyle Royce Ridout, 66, of Greenville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, surrounded by his family.
